The Retreat: Join Sue Hawkins for 6 days/5 nights at Life Resort in Quy Nohn. We invited students who are interested
in a holistic and rejuvenating yoga getaway that offers the beginner or
experienced student an opportunity to extend and deepen their practice, take time out for nurturing spa treatments, cleanse and refresh the body and mind gaining mental clarity, calmness and inspiration! Not only will you get to

The Life
Resort Quy Nhon in central Vietnam provides 4 star luxury accommodation

This

Retreat schedule: Arrive on Feb 23 to settle into your accommodation. We will meet around 4pm
for a brief introduction and then dinner. The first yoga class starts at 7.00am. The retreat ends 27th with a closing dinner and check out is early on 28th Feb.
The program begins with an easy sequence of flowing postures to strengthen the
body, integrating some core strength and balancing postures and working with the
breath in such a way that it assists the body in opening and releasing toxins. The afternoons are directed towards a restorative and
relaxation practice and yoga nidra (deep relaxation).
Personal
attention with adjustments and modifcations are given to beginners or
participants with special needs. In the free time periods you are free
to explore the area or luxuriate in the Day spa, laze around the pool
or beach. The choice is yours! All equipment is supplied but please
bring your own mat. The retreats attract a wide range of participants
from total beginners to more experienced students.
Vietnam Yoga Retreat Teacher:
Sue Hawkins: is a certified Yoga Teacher who has been practising yoga for
over 25 years and teaching for 11. She is the founder of Byron Bay Yoga
and holds yoga and meditation retreats in Byron Bay and internationally
and has been involved in Teacher Trainings. Sue has studied Iyengar
yoga and Ashtanga and has over the years has explored other styles. Sue
integrates this knowledge and experience into her teaching. Her
experience and intuition will show you ways to deepen your practice and
develop more confidence and strength in an engaging and supportive
environment. Sue teaches a fusion of yoga styles incorporating pilates
and core strength. "Working on retreats gives me the opportunity to
develop a deeper connection with participants offering encouragement
and support towards their own yoga journey".
Retreat food:
The resort food is incredible and each day there is an exotic variety of tasty dishes supplied. It is mainly an
asian influence but we can cater to all dietary requirements. If you
are not eating carbohydrates or have allergic reactions to some foods,
please advise us in advance so we can arrange alternative meals for you.
Retreat day spa – How to enjoy your Life spa and wellness experience . . .
The
Day Spa offers a true oasis where one can rest and revitalise.
Treatments include facials, water therapies, body wraps, scrubs,
Detoxification program Hot Stone Massage, fabulous lemon grass Cham steam bath, therapeutic and rejuvenating
massages, aromatherapy treatments as well.
Yoga Retreat activities:
One can explore the
ancient culture through visiting markets or various sports, excursions,
sightseeing, art and language and cooking classes organised by the
hotel. Baby sitting is available and the hotel and features a kiddies
pool. The resort is situated on a private beach which is safe to swim in and suitable for children.

Jetstar and Virgin offer very cheap fares direct to Vietnam from Sydney or you can fly Vietnam Airlines. Domestic flight is required to get to Quy Nhon from Hoh Chi Minh city. These
need to be booked
directly with your travel agent or we can help you book through our
local travel agent. We fly into Ho chi Minh City (Saigon). Visas are
required and we recommend you get travel insurance. Depending
on the flight schedule you will need to stay overnight in Saigon which
is quite inexpensive and great shopping!

out of Quy Nhon - a coastal city on the lower central coast. The
capital of Binh Dinh province north of Nha Trang.
