Byron Bay Yoga Retreats are a truly empowering journey to experience your true creative spirit and to re-discover yourself in a beautiful secluded environment right next to Tallows Beach.
The Retreat
The retreat is designed for anyone desiring to touch base with the
self, practice daily yoga, meditation and intutitve practices while
enjoying a unique and relaxing Byron Bay experience.
The retreat location is only 10 minutes from Byron Bay where the beach
and the bush come together on the edge of the National Park.
The cabins offer single and twin share and all rooms are
air-conditioned, with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom facilities and
balcony in a private 30 acre sanctuary with 630 metres of beachfront,
halfway between the lighthouse and Broken Head.
The yoga studio is a newly built Balinese style building set amongst
the trees with beautiful wooden floors which is open and airy. Perfect
for connecting with nature while we practice in beautiful a place.
Schedule:
Yoga classes twice daily, Meditation daily, pranayama, pilates, Intuitive sessions, chanting, dance and free time out to relax and rejuvenate in the natural environment.
Each day we begin with a vinyasa flow practice. Postures are linked
together in dynamic sequences to create a powerful effect on mind, body
and spirit, followed by meditation.
The afternoon practice introduces various techniques of relaxation which help to soothe and refresh the nervous system which enables us to focus on deeper levels of awareness and still the mind. Check in and check out:
Arrival time is on Wed from 2.00pm onwards to settle into your
accommodation. Light snack and refreshments will be available then we
will gather in the yoga hall at 4pm for introduction and first yoga class.
Check out time on the last day is 10am from your cabin and final close
of retreat will be 11.30am.
Transport and direction details will be sent to you at time of registration.
Judy Leane: has been teaching pilates and
strength conditioning working with the human body integrating her
training in complementary medicine, exercise science and dance as well
as studying yoga. Judy assists and teaches pilates and has a wealth of
knowledge. Judy is also a physiotherapist and lectures anatomy and
specialises in personal training and is currently training some of the Olympic Athletes who have consequently broken records! The fusion of yoga and pilates is a
brilliant combination to increase not only core strength but tremendous
body awareness and understanding.
Activitites:
Range from catching a breathtaking sunrise along Tallow Beach, surfing, kayaking, cycling
on the bike trails through the rainforest, tennis or simply relaxing
and soaking up the serenity of the environment. Do as little or as much
as you like, the choice is yours. Excellent on site massage and healing
treatments are available on request. Massage 75mins $125, Healings 75mins $125. These sessions need to be booked
in advance.
Food
Healthy gourmet vegetarian meals, fresh organic juices & herbal
teas are provided to nourish and cleanse the body. All dietary
requirements can be catered for.
The
retreats attract a wide range of people from total beginners to
more experienced practitioners. We provide plenty of individual
attention and assistance to provide extra support during classes
particularly if you have any injuries or special needs. Don't worry if
you cannot do a headstand! It's all about your own personal yoga and
doing what is appropriate for your body and needs at the time.

Cancellation Conditions
A non-refundable deposit of $300 is required to secure your place. This deposit will form part f your final payment which is payable 1 month before retreat begins.A cancellation fee of $200 will apply if booking is cancelled. Retreats can be swapped at the discretion of
Byron Bay Yoga within the year.

We provide a nurturing and safe environment and all care and
responsibility is taken throughout the retreat to each participants
but, but no responsibility will be taken for any injuries incurred
during retreat. Medical history forms are to be completed before
retreat and if you are unsure of your ability due to previous injuries
please inform beforehand. Modifications are given to students with
